5th of January, 2009 - CARNAGE EUPHORIA
Today starts the recording of Vomitory's 7th album, entitled CARNAGE EUPHORIA. Ten songs of relentless death metal will be immortalized at Leon Music Studios in Karlstad/Sweden, with studio owner Rikard Löfgren in the engineer/producer seat. 26th of November, 2008 - New Vomitory album
On January 5th, 2009, Vomitory enters Leon Music Studios in Karlstad/Sweden to record their seventh (yet untitled) album. Studio owner Rikard Löfgren will once again engineer, partially produce, mix and master the new album, like he did with Terrorize Brutalize Sodomize. The album is planned for a May 2009 release through Metal Blade Records in Europe.
US / rest of world is not set yet. Therefore, Vomitory is now looking for interested labels. Please get in touch at band@vomitory.net.
5th of August, 2008 - European Tour Cancelled
The upcoming European tour in September together with Incantation has unfortunately been cancelled. Incantation has been forced to cancel due to personal familiy issues, which leaves us with no headliner for the tour. Vomitory will still play a few of the planned shows (see dates below). We are of course very sorry for the cancellation, but the things that have happened are beyond anyone's control, which makes it impossible to fulfil this tour. We apologize to our fans and all the promotors involved. We are aiming for a full European tour next year after the release of our next album, which is planned for a May 2009 release.

19th of April, 2008 - Metal Blade
VOMITORY have extended their contract with Metal Blade Records Europe for another four albums. Comments Tobias Gustafsson: "We are happy and proud to have signed a new deal with Metal Blade Records Europe. After doing four successful albums out of our six together with Metal Blade, it was no doubt that we wanted to continue working with them. Obviously, they like the way we deliver our death metal and we have no plans on letting them down on that from now on either!"
The band is now busy with the songwriting for the yet untitled album number 7 and there are 3-4 songs finished by now. The plan is to record the new album in January of 2009, and the possible release date for another atom bomb of Deah Metal is May 2009.

Tobias Gustafsson's new band, TORTURE DIVISION, featuring Lord K Philipson (The Project Hate) and Jörgen Sandström (Vicious Art, The Project Hate, Krux, ex-Grave, ex-Entombed) have their first demo available for download here.

19th of December, 2007 - Cancelled show!
Unfortunately we have to announce that the Devil's Revenge Festival, scheduled to take place on the 29th of December, has been cancelled due to bad pre-sales.. Hopefully there will be an another opportunity for us soon to come to Germany...
11th of November, 2007 - Mov
The show in Karlstad together with Damien, which was cancelled last week, has been moved to this coming thursday (15th of November). The show will take place at Koriander and the doors open at 22.

17th of September, 2007 - Two new gigs coming up
Two shows are planned this fall/winter so far. First up is a gig at Glada Ankan in our hometown Karlstad (support: Damien). At the end of the year we will also visit Germany again to play at the Devil's Revenge Festival in Lichtenfels. Check the gigs section for more details...

20th of April, 2007 - New website design
Today is the street day for Terrorize Brutalize Sodomize in Germany and the surrounding area. To celebrate this we're launching a new design for the website, in the vein of the new album. It's also time to reveal the full artwork for the T.B.S. album, including the booklet, discs and everything! 22nd of February, 2007 - Vinyl releases
"Raped In Their Own Blood" and "Redemption" are now available on vinyl, through Animate Records! Both of them are strictly limited to 666 copies each, and the first 100 copies of both albums comes in coloured vinyl!
31th of January, 2007 - New concerts
Vomitory is now confirmed for Sweden Rock Festival taking place at Sölvesborg, Sweden, on June the 6th to 9th. You'll find more information about the festival on the official website.
In other news, we are also scheduled for a concert at Club Aska in Örebro, Sweden, on the 12th of May. Opening act this night will be Ruin.
The running order for Maryland DeathFest has now been finalized and we will grind your brains out on saturday the 26th of May, 10:00-10:40 P.M.
26th of January, 2007 - Album cover unveiled!
It's finally time to unveil the cover artwork of the upcoming album Terrorize Brutalize Sodomize (click on the image to see a larger version)! As you can see we've gone in a new brutal direction with this cover, using a photo instead something painted.
The rest of the booklet is also 100% photo-based and follows the same style, but certainly brings it to new sick and disturbing levels. Connoisseurs of gory death metal imagery will certainly have something extra to look forward to!

16th of January, 2007 - January update
We have now finally completed our sixth album, Terrorize Brutalize Sodomize! And I say finally because it has been three long years since our latest album, Primal Massacre, saw the light of day. Terrorize Brutalize Sodomize was recorded, mixed and mastered at Leon Music Studio, Karlstad/Sweden during December together with producer/engineer Rikard Löfgren.
We're totally satisfied with how it all turned out - the production is top-notch, the songs and our performances are at their best and the variation in the songs are better than ever before. The album has some of the fastest shit we've ever done as well as some of the heaviest. The album contains 40 minutes of death fucking metal, consisting of these songs:

1st of December, 2006 - Terrorize Brutalize Sodomize!
On Sunday, December 3rd, we will enter Leon Music studios Karlstad, Sweden, to start the recordings of our sixth album, which will be entitled "TERRORIZE BRUTALIZE SODOMIZE". Leon Music's owner/founder Rikard Löfgren is our producer of choice for this album. Ten songs will be recorded during two weeks, then we'll take a break over the holidays, and during the beginning of January we'll finish everything with the mixing and mastering. The artwork is being made by Chaos Media and we can assure you that the title and the artwork will go hand in hand... "TERRORIZE BRUTALIZE SODOMIZE" is scheduled for a late April release through Metal Blade Records.

2nd of November, 2006 - Vomitory goes west!
Vomitory is confirmed for Maryland Deathfest, 26-27 May 2007 in Baltimore, MD, U.S.A. This means that this will be the first show ever for Vomitory on American soil! We're working on getting some more shows confirmed around the festival dates. More info on this later.
26th of October, 2006 - News about the coming album
Vomitory will enter Leon Music Studios outside Karlstad/Sweden on December 3rd to start recording the new album. This time we'll work with producer Rikard Löfgren, who is the founder/owner of Leon Music. Rikard Löfgren is still a pretty unfamiliar name within the death metal scene. He mostly works with more commercial music but he is a great producer and has his roots in metal. We know the guy since ages and we have great confidence in him. It's going to feel strange to do a new Vomitory album not working with our side-kick Henrik Larsson, but we feel it's time to try something new. Since Vomitory isn't exactly an experimental band, we feel that working in a new studio with a new producer is a good way of renewing the band. We have two weeks for the recording and one week of mix and mastering. The album is planned to be released by the end of April next year through Metal Blade Records.
The album title will be revealed soon.

The first two Vomitory albums, "Raped in their own blood" and "Redemption" will soon finally be available on vinyl! Animate Records will release them both as strictly limited vinyl versions of 666 (surprise, surprise!) copies each. No final release date is set yet, but everything is in the works now so check this section later for a release date.

14th of August, 2006 - Stonehenge Festival
We want to thank every single Dutch Death Metal Head who turned up for our show at the Stonehenge Festival! Due to some problems with our flights, we had to do the show with borrowed guitars and bass. So eternal thanks goes out to Harold and Legion Of The Damned and the guys from Prostitute Disfigurement for letting us use their gear! Thank you!
21st of May, 2006 - Vomitory confirmed for Stonehenge Festival
Vomitory will headline the Stonehenge festival in the Netherlands on July 29th. This will probably be the bands only live performance this summer.
The band is currently busy writing new material for the follow-up to "Primal Massacre" (2004) and has about one third/half of the songs finished. Newcomer Peter Östlund (guitar) has so far contributed with two songs, one is in the typical Vomitory-vein and the other a bit heavier than the usual Vomitory song. Tobias Gustafsson (drums) has written three songs so far but has like 4 more in the works at the moment. Erik Rundqvist (bass & vocals) is solely focusing on writing the lyrics.
27th of April, 2006 - New photos

11th of April, 2006 - Goodbye guestbook

15th of February, 2006 - God Among Insects
Drummer Tobias Gustafsson's second band, God Among Insects, will release their second album, entitled "Zombienomicon", on April 17th through Threeman Recordings. Pre-order your copy by clicking here. A release party for "Zombienomicon" will be held in Örebro/Sweden on April 21st, when God Among Insects supports the almighty Bolt Thrower.
